Our mission at Black Diamond Friesians is to raise and compete with exceptional Friesian horses. To accomplish our goal we are continually researching to find the perfect combination of strength, versatility and beauty.

We visit the Netherlands and, in particular, Friesland as well as here at home in the United States, to find the best horses. We make trips overseas to deepen our knowledge of the breed and the current trends in breeding.

At Black Diamond Friesians, we are dedicated to breeding top quality Friesian horses for type, temperament and disposition. We are very careful in our selection of the Friesian stallions we breed with our mares, as our mission is to preserve type and the betterment of the breed.

We are seeking to produce that right combination to create the perfect horse of your dreams. Whether that be for Dressage, Saddleseat, Carriage Driving or your personal pleasure, riding horse and all around exceptional family horse.

Our Friesians are sold to approved homes only. This is a life-long dream and our daily passion. Our horses and our Brittany's are part of our family each and every one. We know and love all of the animals who come to live at Black Diamond Friesians and we take great pride with their care and future well being.
